Many websites now have more visitors from mobile phones and tablets than from desktop machines. This means that it's more important than ever to have a website that looks good on all types of device.
As well as making it difficult for users to use your site, a site that's not mobile friendly is also likely to appear lower in search engines results, making it harder for customers to find you in the first place.
Thankfully it's very easy to test how mobile friendly your site is!
Just click here to go to Google's mobile friendly checker (opens in a new tab or window) and enter your website address.
After a few seconds you'll hopefully see a green image showing that your site is mobile friendly.
If you get a red "page is not mobile friendly" message then users might experience issues when viewing your site on a mobile device.
If you're not sure what some of the errors mean or you need help to fix them then the first place to look is on Google's help page (opens in a new tab or window).
Some of the information can get very technical but if you need any help understanding it then please don't hesitate to contact us. If you'd like us to run this test and a series of other checks on your website then you can sign up for a free website healthcheck.
